For Prestige FC 11, Isaiah Metituk has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the six MMA bouts on the card.

Metituk holds an amateur MMA record of 5-3 with his most recent win coming at XFFC 20, a first round submission victory over Connor Krebs. Metituk’s next time in action will be at the 2019 Canadian National Amateur Championships, which are set to get underway on April 10.

Here are Metituk’s predictions for Prestige FC 11:

Mark Mosure (4-0) vs Dan Kovalchuk (4-1) FIGHT PREVIEW

“Both these guys are at the top of the heap when it comes to welterweight amateurs in Canada. Kovalchuk recently made the switch to Dynamic MMA from CMC, which is like going from the lightning to the predators as both are top of the pile when it comes to gyms. However, I was really impressed with Mosure’s last Prestige FC fight as he took out dangerous striker Regan RunningRabbit with a smart, wrestling-based game-plan.”

Prediction: Mosure wins by unanimous decision.

Jay Whitford (1-1) vs Samson Bieri (2-1)

“This should be a banger for however long it lasts. Both these guys have shown they are not afraid to stand and trade. so it should make for a really entertaining fight. I think Bieri’s technique is just a little cleaner and his training partners are just a little higher level, and I think we will really see that benefit him here.”

Prediction: Bieri wins by TKO in the third round.

Evan Quinn (0-0) vs Robert Noble (0-0)

“This is a hard one to pick as there’s nothing about either of these guys on social media. I’m going with Noble since being Noble is always a good thing.”

Prediction: Noble wins by unanimous decision.

Colin Rapitta (0-0) vs David Garcia (1-1)

“Rapitta is making his debut while Garcia has a win over a tough kid in Quinton Tait and his last fight was against the aforementioned Kovalchuk. If he minds his P’s and Q’s, this should be a good rebound fight for Garcia.”

Prediction: Garcia wins by TKO in the first round.

Usman Khattak (3-2) vs Semir Ali (2-0) FIGHT PREVIEW

“This is a fight I really have my eye on. Both guys are very good wrestlers and come from great gyms. Based on relative experience, I’m picking Khattak to just be a little craftier and grind out the win.”

Prediction: Khattak wins by unanimous decision.

Rick Minhas (0-0) vs Seth Buss (0-0)

“Both of these guys are making their debuts, however Buss has made his name as a jiu-jitsu coach at Apex MMA and is talked of very highly by Justin Schmit. Based on what I’ve seen, I’m going with Buss.”

Prediction: Buss wins by submission in the first round.
