Mamba Fight Night 9 takes place Nov. 6, 2021 and will feature three MMA bouts, along with an assortment of other matchups in other disciplines.
Here are my predictions for Mamba Fight Night 9:
Gagan Gill (3-1) vs. Kristian Bouchard (2-0): PRO Featherweight *CANCELLED
“Solid main event between two prospects early in their careers. It’s been awhile for both fighters since their last fight with Gill last competing in Jan. 2020 and Bouchard in Nov. 2019. It could be close early in the fight, but I see Gill’s experience paying off in the long run.”
Prediction: Gill wins via unanimous decision.
Hamid Moradi (0-0) vs. Brett Jackson (0-0): AMATEUR 160 pounds
“Both guys are making their amateur debuts, which makes things pretty tough to predict. Without knowing too much at all on Jackson and knowing Moradi is coming out of Universal MMA with Dejan Kajic, I have to side with Moradi for that reason.”
Prediction: Moradi wins via TKO in the first round.
Vincent Yu (0-0) vs. Nate Buhay (0-0): AMATEUR Featherweight
“Another tough one to call with both fighters making their amateur debut. It’s really a coin flip in this situation without knowing much about either fighter, so I will side with Yu due to coming out of the Tristar camp in Vancouver.”
Prediction: Yu wins via submission in the second round.
