Each event, there will be a “guest predictor” who will offer their insight into the event and provide their predictions for each MMA bout.

For XFFC 22, Lorenzo Celis has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the eight MMA bouts on the card.
Celis (1-0) is fresh off making his professional debut last week at Modern FC 3, a first round submission win over Austin Smith. Celis went 3-1-1 as an amateur, which included winning the XFFC amateur middleweight title.
Here are Celis’ predictions for XFFC 22:
Justin Knoepfli (5-4) vs Justin Grey (1-6): AMATEUR Bantamweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Battle of the Justins. I’ve never seen Knoepfli fight, but I’ve heard about him. Grey has a lot of heart, but I don’t see this fight going in his favour.”
Prediction: Knoepfli wins by submission in the second round.
Jordan Noseworthy (3-2) vs Eric Stevens (4-2): AMATEUR Light Heavyweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“This is a great matchup! I’m excited for this one. Noseworthy has a big reach advantage on Stevens, but I think Stevens’ durability will play out in this fight. It will be a bloody war.”
Prediction: Stevens wins by split decision.
Albaraa Atmeh (4-2) vs Mike Parsons (4-2): AMATEUR Featherweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW **Cancelled due to Parsons medicals**
“I’ve seen both guys fight before at Nationals. Atmeh is the more technical fighter, but Parsons definitely has the strength advantage. Either way, this will be a great fight.”
Prediction: Atmeh wins by TKO in the fourth round.
Dan Kovalchuk (5-1) vs Ramil Kamilov (4-2): AMATEUR Welterweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“This is a fantastic welterweight match! Kovalchuk has an excellent ground game and Kamilov is a very good striker. I’m interested to see how this fight goes down.”
Prediction: Kovalchuk wins by unanimous decision.
Brody Zariwny (0-4) vs Isaiah Metituk (5-4): AMATEUR Lightweight
“From what I know, this is a rematch. Metituk is a very nice kid, but a very fierce fighter. I’ve never seen Zariwny fight before, but he may want some redemption. He will definitely bring the fight to Metituk.”
Prediction: Metituk wins by TKO in the third round.
Blair Watchorn (1-0) vs Eric Haldemann (0-0): AMATEUR 165 pounds
“Should be a good one! I’ve never seen either of these guys fight, but Blair might have the advantage since he has fought before.”
Prediction: Watchorn wins by submission in the first round.
Colton Trudel (0-0) vs Kyle Bateman (0-0): AMATEUR Lightweight
“A lightweight bout with both fighters making their debut. I’m sure it will be quite the battle since both of them want to prove themselves.”
Prediction: Bateman wins by unanimous decision.
Sasha Butler (0-1) vs Owen Swiftwolf (0-0): AMATEUR Bantamweight
“These are two fighters I have not seen or heard of. Butler is coming off a loss, so he might be desperate to get the win this time.”
Prediction: Butler wins by knockout in the first round.
