Each event, there will be a “guest predictor” who will offer their insight into the event and provide their predictions for each MMA bout.

For Fight Night 9, Joel Odorski has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the seven MMA bouts on the card.

Odorski made his professional debut in September, taking home a first round TKO victory over Greg Large, after a unblemished 3-0 amateur career. Odorski will step into the cage next on March 1 where he will look to move to 2-0 at Unified MMA 36 against Josh Mackenzie.

Here are Odorski’s predictions for Fight Night 9:

Chris Curtis (19-5) vs Matt Dwyer (11-4): Fight Preview

“I think it will be a back and forth fight. Both guys have win streaks going so I think it will be entertaining.”

Prediction: Dwyer wins by unanimous decision.

Lucas Neufeld (3-1) vs Gagan Gill (2-0): Fight Preview

“I think Neufeld will come out fast in front of his hometown and get back in the win column. I trained a little with him recently and he looked very good.”

Prediction: Neufeld wins by knockout in the first round.

Usman Khattak (2-2) vs Samson Bieri (2-0): Fight Preview

“Khattak comes from a really good gym and trains under a good coach in Vince Gentile, but I don’t know much about Bieri.”

Prediction: Khattak wins by submission in the second round.

Jeremy Grieve (1-0) vs Semir Ali (1-0)

“Grieve’s fight at the Rumble in the Cage in September showed he has very good power and timing.”

Prediction: Grieve wins by knockout in the first round.

Fred Bauer (0-1) vs Quinton Tait (3-1)

“Tait comes from a great gym and he’s fighting in his hometown and Bauer’s last fight at Rumble in the Cage was a beauty.”

Prediction: Tait wins by unanimous decision.

Phil Bernate (0-0) vs Ryan Lebedoff (0-1)

“Both are relatively new fighters and I think this one is over early.”

Prediction: Lebedoff wins by knockout in the first round.

Luc Bernard (1-0) vs Danny Amberson (1-0)

“Amberson’s name comes to mind first based off his strong wrestling background.”

Prediction: Amberson wins by submission in the second round.
