Predictions: Fight Night 9

At every event, a "guest predictor" joins the show to share their perspective and make picks for every matchup on the card.

For Fight Night 9, Joel Odorski has been tapped to deliver his picks and breakdown of the seven MMA fights scheduled for the card.

Odorski turned pro in September, earning a first-round TKO against Greg Large to cap off a perfect 3-0 amateur run. His next outing comes on March 1 when he aims to improve to 2-0 at Unified MMA 36 against Josh Mackenzie.

Below are Odorski's predictions for Fight Night 9:

Chris Curtis (19-5) vs Matt Dwyer (11-4): Fight Preview

"I expect this to be a competitive, back-and-forth matchup. Both fighters are riding winning streaks, so it should be a fun one."

Prediction: Dwyer wins by unanimous decision.

Lucas Neufeld (3-1) vs Gagan Gill (2-0): Fight Preview

"Neufeld will come out strong in front of his hometown crowd and return to the win column. I got some time to train with him recently and he looked sharp."

Prediction: Neufeld wins by knockout in the first round.

Usman Khattak (2-2) vs Samson Bieri (2-0): Fight Preview

"Khattak trains at a solid gym under quality coach Vince Gentile, though I don't know a ton about Bieri."

Prediction: Khattak wins by submission in the second round.

Jeremy Grieve (1-0) vs Semir Ali (1-0)

"Grieve's showing at the Rumble in the Cage in September proved he carries serious power and sharp timing."

Prediction: Grieve wins by knockout in the first round.

Fred Bauer (0-1) vs Quinton Tait (3-1)

"Tait hails from a top gym and gets to fight in his hometown, while Bauer's last outing at Rumble in the Cage was a real classic."

Prediction: Tait wins by unanimous decision.

Phil Bernate (0-0) vs Ryan Lebedoff (0-1)

"Both guys are still fairly inexperienced in the sport, so I expect this to wrap up quickly."

Prediction: Lebedoff finishes it via KO in round one.

Luc Bernard (1-0) vs Danny Amberson (1-0)

"Amberson has me thinking first, mainly because of his impressive wrestling pedigree."

Prediction: Amberson claims victory by submission in the second frame.
