Predictions: Samourai MMA 4

Samourai MMA 4 is slated for tomorrow night in Montreal, Que. Robert Seres and Guillaume De Lorenzi are set to headline a card that also features several young prospects to keep an eye on.

Here are my picks for the action tomorrow night.

Robert Seres (6-3) vs. Guillaume De Lorenzi (10-2): PRO 165 pounds

2022 has been as kind as can be for Seres who has two first round finishes so far. De Lorenzi hasn’t seen cage action since 2013, which could be a major factor when facing an opponent running as hot as Seres. I think Seres makes it three-for-three for finishes this year.

Prediction: Seres wins via TKO.

Tommy Morrisson (2-0) vs. Yassin Nasri (1-2): PRO Flyweight

One of the more promising, young prospects in Canada right now, Morrisson will look to remain undefeated as a professional. I feel Morrisson will be too well-rounded and just a level above Nasri in this one.

Prediction: Morrisson wins via decision.

Irving Molina (2-1) vs. Jonathan Ramsay (1-0): PRO Welterweight

This is a tough fight to call with very little footage or information on either fighter. In this case, I will have to roll with the hometown fighter coming off a big first round finish in his professional debut.

Prediction: Ramsay wins via TKO.

Cedric Koung (0-2) vs. Vincent Houle (1-0): PRO Middleweight

We haven’t seen Houle in action in over three years, but I feel he has the perfect opponent here to pick up another win.

Prediction: Houle wins via TKO.

Allen Girard (0-1) vs. James Cardinal-Lauzon (0-1): PRO Welterweight

The professional debut for both fighters didn’t go as planned, so both will be looking to get back on track here. Cardinal-Lauzon works with some of the best coaches in Canada and I feel like he’ll have the upper edge in this one.

Prediction: Cardinal-Lauzon wins via TKO.

Keyano Young (1-1) vs. Charles Azoulay (1-2): PRO Featherweight

I think this will be one of the most competitive fights on the card, which makes it tough to call. It would not surprise me to see either fighter win.

Prediction: Azoulay wins via decision.

Mehdi Zeidvand (2-0) vs. Gabriel Mendez (1-1): PRO Featherweight

Can Mendez handle the wrestling of Zeidvand? I’m going to say no.

Prediction: Zeidvand wins via TKO.
