Each event, there will be a “guest predictor” who will offer their insight into the event and provide their predictions for each MMA bout.

For Unified MMA 39, Josh Kwiatkowski has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the nine MMA bouts on the card.
Kwiatkowski holds a professional record of 4-2, with his most recent win coming this past weekend at Rise FC 5, a second round TKO win over Randy Mahon. After starting his professional career 1-2, Kwiatkowski has now won three straight fights, and is likely to in action at Rise FC 6 in early 2020.
Here are Kwiatkowski’s predictions for Unified MMA 39:
Shane Campbell (18-8) vs Dawond Pickney (16-14): PRO 165 pounds FIGHT PREVIEW
“The Shaolin is a dangerous striker who reads his opponents well, kicking the s**t out of them. He will start technical, but will pick him apart technically with his muay thai until Pickney breaks late.”
Prediction: Campbell wins by TKO in the third round.
Mike Scarcello (9-4) vs Derek Boyle (13-13): PRO 165 pounds
“I think Boyle’s experience will be enough to edge a decision.”
Prediction: Boyle wins by unanimous decision.
Michael Hay (5-2) vs Noah Ali (9-5-1): PRO Bantamweight FIGHT PREVIEW
“I think Ali being gone for two years is going to give him an edge in hunger and will to win. Also, I want him to win to set up a future match with my teammate Jamie Siraj (for my own sick pleasures).”
Prediction: Ali wins by unanimous decision.
Merrick Duggan (8-2) vs Tim Smith (14-9): PRO Lightweight
“To be honest, Duggan’s Tapology photo has Benson Henderson in it, and a name like Tim Smith is kind of like having the name John Doe.”
Prediction: Duggan wins by submission in the first round.
Andrew Mavridis (0-0) vs Josh Mackenzie (1-1): PRO 165 pounds
“I saw Mackenzie fight live and he’s a dog! He’s full of fight, and really if the fight ends with a finish, it will be because of Mackenzie’s pace. He also has a solid name.”
Prediction: Mackenzie wins by TKO in the third round.
Albaraa Atmeh (4-2) vs Solomon Courtoreille (5-1): AMATEUR Featherweight
“For a young man, this Atmeh kid seems like a talented striker with a bunch of canceled fights, so I hope this fight gets to happen! We can see how Courtoreille can deal with Atmeh’s striking, but I assume he gets it done.”
Prediction: Atmeh wins by TKO in the second round.
Shannon Clark (1-0) vs Alisha Hart (0-0): AMATEUR Women’s Bantamweight
“Clark’s a little fire cracker who’s first fight ended in a doctors stoppage against a tough opponent, and I think it will be too much for her Hart’s debut.”
Prediction: Clark wins by knockout in the first round.
Jared Shipley (1-0) vs Connor Krebs (2-2): AMATEUR Lightweight
“Shipley’s dominant amateur debut leads me to believe he will find a way to finish the fight again.”
Prediction: Shipley wins by TKO in the first round.
Kyle Valiquette (0-0) vs Joshua Henshaw (0-0): AMATEUR Bantamweight
“Henshaw has a solid name; he’s going figure it out with a name like that. Arm bar or triangle perhaps while giving the double bird. Only time will tell.”
Prediction: Henshaw wins by submission in the first round.
