MMA Empire is an independent Canadian MMA news site. These standards govern how we report, correct, and present our coverage.

Sourcing

We report on fight cards, results, rankings, and fighter news across Canada. Results and statistics are drawn from official promotion releases, on-site reporting, and reputable public sources including ufc.com and ESPN. Historical articles (2017–2023) are reproduced from the site's original archive and reflect reporting at the time of publication.

Accuracy and corrections

We strive for accuracy. If a published article contains an error — a wrong result, a misspelled name, an incorrect record — contact us at joelg@mmaempire.ca and we will review and correct it promptly.

Rankings

Current UFC rankings are pulled from ufc.com and refreshed regularly. Historic Canadian regional rankings remain available in our archive for reference.

Independence

Editorial content is produced independently of advertisers and sponsors. Advertising on the site is served by Google AdSense and does not influence our coverage.

Language

MMA Empire publishes in English and French to serve Canada's bilingual MMA community.
