Predictions: XFFC 18

Every XFFC card features a "guest predictor" who weighs in on each matchup and shares their take on how things will unfold.

This time around, Michael Hill has come aboard to break down all 10 bouts on XFFC 18 and lay out his picks.

Hill sits at 10-4-1 overall, a resume that features three fights from his run on season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2012. He's currently on a two-bout win streak and will look to keep that roll alive at XFFC 19, where he'll challenge Matt Krayco for the welterweight belt.

If you're tuning in remotely, Hill will also be in Penticton providing play-by-play commentary throughout the night.

Without further ado, here are Hill's picks for XFFC 18:

Matt Dwyer (10-4) vs Dominique Steele (17-10): Fight Preview

"Dwyer has my sympathy, but I'd have to put my cash on Steele. I'd love to see Dwyer wow the hometown crowd, yet Steele's veteran savvy is going to be a serious problem. These are never easy calls, but my gut says Dwyer and my wallet says Steele."

Prediction: Steele takes it by split decision.

Chris Day (5-4) vs Tom O'Connor (7-1): Fight Preview

"This one should be a real banger, both for the fighters and the audience. Don't get tricked by Day's record or his most recent outing. When he's clicking, he's a nightmare for anyone regardless of weight. O'Connor's been lights out lately with six finishes over his past seven outings, but I just don't see him walking away victorious in front of Day's supporters and family. This is Day's to lose — stay locked in."

Prediction: Day taps O'Connor in round two.

Grayson Wells (3-2) vs Josh Heinz (4-1): Fight Preview

"Wells is gunning for payback after falling to Dustin Joynson in his last outing. His crew will be front and center, so he'll be itching to put on a fireworks display."

Prediction: Wells stops Heinz via KO or TKO in round one.

Damian Johnston (3-1) vs Jared Feuring (1-1)

"At this stage in their careers, Johnston simply outmatches Feuring."

Prediction: Johnston wins by unanimous decision.

Steve MacDonald (1-0) vs Jeff Porter (4-5)

"MacDonald's striking is exceptional — his hands, his movement, his power everywhere. He hits hard with both arms and both legs."

Prediction: MacDonald wins by unanimous decision.

Our Pick: MacDonald secures a first-round knockout victory.

Terrence Chan (3-1) vs Bojan Kladnjakovic (3-3)

"Chan has been consistently putting in the work and proving himself inside the cage, while Kladnjakovic hasn't stepped into action for some time."

Our Pick: Chan claims a first-round submission win.

Cleveland Bentley (1-3) vs Josh Kwiatkowski (0-0)

"Kwiatkowski trains relentlessly at Titan MMA, and I expect him to control the pace and pressure Bentley throughout the bout."

Our Pick: Kwiatkowski wins via unanimous decision.

Blake Sigvaldason (0-1) vs Robert Nelson (0-5)

"Nelson's extensive cage experience gives him the edge to pull off the victory."

Our Pick: Nelson wins by unanimous decision.

Justin Doege (0-0) vs Justin Schmit (4-7)

"Doege brings serious firepower to the heavyweight scene and will be a name to watch. His size and strength should overwhelm Schmit."

Our Pick: Doege captures a first-round knockout.

Cuba Echegoyen (1-0) vs Dallas Knelsen (0-1)

"Echegoyen's dedication to consistent training sessions will ultimately pay off and earn him the victory."

Our Pick: Echegoyen wins by first-round TKO.
