Each event, there will be a “guest predictor” who will offer their insight into the event and provide their predictions for each MMA bout.

For XFC 11, Mitch Wiles has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the 14 MMA bouts on the card.
Wiles (0-2) is just kicking off his amateur career in the flyweight division, with his most recent bout coming at Unified MMA 37 against a tough test in Jessie Atwell. Wiles will step in the cage again at Unified MMA 38 where he will face-off with Lorin Motruk.
Here are Wiles’ predictions for XFC 11:
Kenny Pope (5-5) vs Dylan Schellenberg (3-5): AMATEUR Welterweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Pope has the most fights out of anyone on the card, picking up a lot of quick submission wins in his career. Schellenberg has had some solid scraps himself, but I believe the size Pope brings will cause problems.”
Prediction: Pope wins by submission in the first round.
Jordan Cabrejos (2-1-1) vs Will Grieve (2-3): AMATEUR Middleweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Grieve is a grinder; he’s a tough matchup for anyone in the division, but I don’t see Cabrejos not taking home the belt in his hometown.”
Prediction: Cabrejos wins by submission in the third round.
Usman Khattak (4-2) vs Solomon Courtoreille (5-0): AMATEUR Featherweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Khattak has been impressive since his move to 145, picking up two wins against two tough opponents. With that being said, when the lights come on, Courtoreille shows up, I think he mixes it up a little better and will have the right game-plan to win.”
Prediction: Courtoreille wins by unanimous decision.
Jackie McLean (0-0) vs Amanda Rogers (0-1-1): AMATEUR Women’s Bantamweight
“Rogers has faced some of Western Canada’s top competition thus far in her career, while McLean is coming in on her debut having had one of her main training partners already face Rogers. I’m expecting fireworks and this is a toss up for me.”
Prediction: McLean wins by split decision.
Raphael Ouellet (1-1) vs Damon Marlow (2-0): AMATEUR Lightweight
“This is a rematch between two young, up-and-coming fighters. The Ouellet brothers are known for their impressive jiu-jitsu, but with Marlow already having the win over Ouellet, I don’t see him losing this one, especially in his hometown.”
Prediction: Marlow wins by split decision.
Kris Pinky (2-0) vs Austin Kuchinka (2-0): AMATEUR Welterweight
“It’s been a few years since Pinky has fought, so I’m sure he’s gotten better. Kuchinka is a gamer and holds wins over some notable opponents. This should be a fun, closely-contested fight.”
Prediction: Kuchinka wins by split decision.
Cameron Lane (2-1) vs Nick LeBlanc (3-1): AMATEUR 150 pounds
“Both men are sporting winning records, but I believe LeBlanc is on another level. I’ve heard nothing but good things about him and he’s been extremely impressive so far in his career.”
Prediction: LeBlanc wins by TKO in the first round.
Jonathan Gault (0-0) vs Ty Prokopy (0-2): AMATEUR Welterweight
“Prokopy has the experience advantage, having already competed in two bouts, I see that playing a part and helping him get the win.”
Prediction: Prokopy wins by unanimous decision.
Angus Franks (0-0) vs Nick Matthews (0-0): AMATEUR Lightweight
“Franks will have the hometown advantage, but I don’t think that will be enough, Matthews is another Champions Creed product and I see him taking this one.”
Prediction: Matthews wins by unanimous decision.
Abdulla El-Hefnawy (0-2) vs Braiden Jacobi (0-0): AMATEUR Lightweight
“This is another similar matchup to the Prokopy fight, so I’m picking El-Hefnawy to take it due to this not being his first time inside the cage.”
Prediction: El-Hefnawy wins by unanimous decision.
Colten Canturk (0-1) vs Josh Fox (0-1): AMATEUR Middleweight
“I imagine both fighters are going to come out hard looking for their first win.”
Prediction: Canturk wins by unanimous decision.
Tamim Samimi (0-0) vs Patrick Arthur (0-0): AMATEUR Bantamweight
“Another two fighters making the walk for the first time. Samimi comes from a strong camp in Champions Creed and I expect him to take it.”
Prediction: Samimi wins by unanimous decision.
Ivan Hryschuk (0-0) vs Rick Bohning (0-0): AMATEUR Light Heavyweight
“Both fighters are from good camps and are coached by UFC vets. It should be a good, even fight, but I believe Hryschuk’s taekwondo experience will pay off.”
Prediction: Hryschuk wins by TKO in the second round.
Liam Arthur (0-0) vs Edon Shabani (0-0): AMATEUR Featherweight
“Another matchup with two debuting fighters. Arthur seems to have a little more experience, so I see him coming out with the win.”
Prediction: Arthur wins by submission in the third round.
