For Tristan Connelly, the moment he's been waiting for has arrived.
Coming off his victory in the Rise FC lightweight championship at Rise FC 4, Connelly (13-6) is set to step into the UFC for the first time on just under a week's notice. He'll square off against Michel Pereira (23-9) in a welterweight matchup at UFC on ESPN+ 16: Vancouver this Saturday night.
Connelly enters the fight on a four-match winning streak, having secured victories in eight of his past nine bouts, each ending via finish.
