For BTC 13, Christian Tremayne (3-1) has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the 10 MMA bouts on the card.

Following a lengthy layoff, Tremayne returned to action at BFL 68 to earn an impressive TKO win over Austin Batra. He will look to keep that momentum rolling next month as he is scheduled to take on Dylan Schellenberg at BFL 70 on Dec. 3.

Here are Tremayne’s predictions for BTC 13:

Sarah Kaufman (21-5) vs. Jessy Miele (9-5): PRO Women’s Featherweight KAUFMAN PREVIEW, MIELE PREVIEW

“I have to go with Kaufman due to my love of her early push for Canadian mixed martial artists, male and female, representing Canada. When Ronda Rousey was cool, Kaufman already had been a massive influence for years, and not to take anything from Rousey, I just always respected Kaufman and what she did for Canadian MMA. Also, my professional opinion, her heart, skill and longevity in the sport, I believe she comes away victorious.”

Prediction: Kaufman wins via decision.

Xavier Nash (5-4) vs. Thomas Glot (4-0): PRO Lightweight

“This will not be an easy fight for either man. I think Nash has the tenacity, grit and journeymanship to take this win.”

Prediction: Nash wins via decision.

Gabe Sagman (6-4) vs. Matt Dawson (2-1): PRO Flyweight SAGMAN PREVIEWDAWSON PREVIEW

“For Dawson, I appreciate his toughness, grit and motivation, but BJJ doesn’t care about toughness and if he hasn’t learned from his previous loss vs. Indroop Virk and upped his cage wrestling, I see him in a whirlwind of trouble.”

Prediction: Sagman wins via submission.

Teshay Gouthro (3-1) vs. Kristian Bouchard (2-0): PRO Featherweight

“Gouthro having more experience, having fought more recently and training at a top-tier gym like Niagara Top Team should work in his favour in this one.”

Prediction: Gouthro wins via TKO.

Izzudeen Atmeh (1-1) vs. Nathan Small (1-0): PRO Bantamweight Tournament Bout**

“This should come down to who can implement their style better. If Atmeh can defend the takedowns, he should have the edge on the feet. If Small can land the takedowns, he should be in control.”

Prediction: Atmeh wins via decision.

Ariel Zuniga (1-1) vs. Harley King (1-0): PRO Bantamweight Tournament Bout**

” I’m conflicted as they both share similar records and are both hungry. I just anticipate fireworks as young fighters.”

Prediction: King wins via submission.

Vinny Dias (1-0) vs. Mauricio Alejandro Sosa (1-1): PRO Bantamweight Tournament Bout**

“There’s not much information to go off for Sosa, but if Dias can get it into his world on the ground, he should be able to leave victorious.”

Prediction: Dias wins via submission.

Albaraa Atmeh (1-0) vs. Seth Connor (1-3): PRO Bantamweight Tournament Bout**

“I like to go with the underdog and Connor has faced the previous opposition that brings my vote on his side. Having faced Gywn Berry in a 15-minute bout and Austin Russell, I favour him due to experience.”

Prediction: Connor wins via submission.

Cody Chovancek (0-0) vs. Josh Martiniuk (0-0): PRO Featherweight

“Chovancek is a real prospect to keep an eye on as he makes his professional debut here. Also coming out of Niagara Top Team, he should have all the tools needed to get the job done.”

Prediction: Chovancek wins via TKO.

Binaebi Otoru (0-2) vs. Nathan Ledger (0-2): PRO Flyweight

“Ledger’s 0-2 record is a little deceiving as both his losses have come against tough opposition. There’s not a whole lot of information on either fighter, but Ledger’s amateur career inspires some confidence he can earn his first professional win here.”

Prediction: Ledger wins via decision.
