For Modern FC 3, Chad Anheliger has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the five MMA bouts on the card.
Anheliger holds a professional record of 9-5 and is currently riding a seven-fight win streak, which saw him become the Rise FC flyweight and bantamweight champion in his last two fights. Anheliger competed on the inaugural Modern FC 1 card where he defeated Eric Wilson via unanimous decision.

Randy Mahon (4-4) vs Jesse Boldt (2-2): PRO Lightweight FIGHT PREVIEW
“This is a well-matched fight and deserves that main event spot. I think Mahon has faced higher-quality opponents and is riding a win coming in. This should give him the confidence paired with his grappling skills to get the W.”
Prediction: Mahon wins by submission in the second round.
Jose Rodriguez (7-7) vs Saeid Mirzaei (1-0-1): PRO 175 pounds FIGHT PREVIEW
“This has got to be the people’s main event! I’m excited for this fight. Mirzaei is taking on his toughest test; Rodriguez is looking to stop the hype train of Mirzaei. Both guys are capable of getting this win, but Rodriguez has come up short in the past against high-level guys. And Mirzaei is high-level.
Prediction: Mirzaei wins by submission in the first round.
Blair Oster (4-5) vs Josh Kwiatkowski (1-2): PRO Lightweight FIGHT PREVIEW
“I love a good slugfest! This will be a good scrap, but I became a fan of Kwiatkowski after his last fight for Rise FC. He will be hungry after that close loss.”
Prediction: Kwiatkowski wins by TKO in the second round.
Lorenzo Celis (0-0) vs Austin Smith (0-0): PRO Light Heavyweight
“Some more good matchmaking. These guys both had success in amateur and will test the pro scene out for the first time. This will come down to who prepared like a pro. Celis has beaten some good guys and has been the more active fighter and I think this gives him the edge.”

Jared Cochrane (0-0) vs Brendan Ekstrom (0-1): PRO Featherweight
“Both of these guys are looking for their first win. Ekstrom has more cage time and that experience has a lot of weight in these early career fights.”
