Each event, there will be a “guest predictor” who will offer their insight into the event and provide their predictions for each MMA bout.

For Unified MMA 38, Jesse Bull has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the 12 MMA bouts on the card.
Bull holds an amateur MMA record of 3-6 with his most recent contest being a first round defeat to Laine Foxton. His most recent win came over Bradley Nicholson at BFL 56, which was enough to earn him title shots at Mamba Fight Night 5 and AMA 33.
Here are Bull’s predictions for Unified MMA 38:
KB Bhullar (7-0) vs Matt Dwyer (11-5): PRO Middleweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Bhullar looks to welcome UFC-vet Dwyer to his hometown of Edmonton. Dwyer, who is coming off a loss, is looking to add another belt to his middleweight collection. However, undefeated Bhullar, who has finished most of his fights in the first round, is also looking for his first middleweight strap. Dwyer is a very talented fighter indeed, but I see Bhullar taking this one.”
Prediction: Bhullar wins by TKO in the first round.
Graham Park (6-2) vs Sheldon Doll (7-3): PRO Light Heavyweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Park is riding a three-fight winning streak, while Doll is also riding an impressive five-fight winning streak. With both respective winning streaks, possibilities of Canadian number one spot, and Unified light heavyweight title on the line, this fight is big. Both fighters are highly skilled and can finish this fight wherever it goes.”
Prediction: Doll wins by submission in the first round.
Christian Larsen (4-1) vs Jared Kilkenny (13-11): PRO Heavyweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW
“Larsen is on a hot tear right now with a quick and impressive TKO win in his last bout. Kilkenny, on the other hand, is the only man to have stopped Larsen. Having finished all his career wins in the first, I see this fight going no other way for Larsen who looks hungry to avenge is only career loss.”
Prediction: Larsen wins by TKO in the first round.
Grayson Wells (4-2) vs Lee Mein (10-14): PRO Cruiserweight
“Mein is a true veteran to our sport, having a pro record dating all the way back to the early 2000s. But Wells has finished all his pro fights by strikes, and I think this fight will be another one of those.”
Prediction: Wells wins by knockout in the first round.
Nick Hrabec (6-5) vs Cameron Macdonald (1-2): PRO Lightweight
“Both fighters are coming off losses, with Macdonald coming off two straight. Hrabec is a very talented fighter with the experience to go the distance and finish the fight. Hrabec also already has win over Macdonald in their first bout together.”
Prediction: Hrabec wins by TKO in the second round.
Leroy Noltcho (2-1) vs Cam Dyck (1-1): PRO 195 pounds
“Both fighters are coming off a bit of a layoff and both coming off a loss in their last bouts. This fight can go either way really, and could come down to who’s been training harder during the time off.”
Prediction: Noltcho wins by unanimous decision.
Matt Klute (1-0) vs Josh Kwiatkowski (2-2): PRO Featherweight
“Klute is coming with some heat off his pro debut win, but Kwiatkowski is coming off a win of his own. This is going to be a big test for Klute, but I see him grinding this one out.”
Prediction: Klute wins by unanimous decision.
Cole Campbell (2-3) vs Dave Pogson (3-6): PRO Lightweight
“In his last two outings, Pogson has produced two wins while Campbell has come up short. Riding his two-fight win streak will give Pogson some momentum.
Prediction: Pogson wins by submission in the first round.
Tyrell Giselbrecht (2-1) vs Alexander Krutskykh (0-0): AMATEUR Featherweight
“Krutskykh is another debuting amateur fighter and I think Giselbrecht’s experience against tough competition will be the difference.”
Prediction: Giselbrecht wins by submission in the second round.
Robert Kovacevic (1-2) vs Konstantin Zaitsau (0-0): AMATEUR Welterweight
“Zaitsau is making his amateur debut, but I think the experience of Kovacevic will play a key here.”
Prediction: Kovacevic wins by unanimous decision.
Laine Foxton (1-1) vs James Ricks (0-0): AMATEUR Lightweight
“This is Ricks’ debut fight, and I think the excitement he’ll be feeling will help get the job done.”
Prediction: Ricks win by TKO in the first round.
Mitch Wiles (0-2) vs Lorin Motruk (1-0): AMATEUR Bantamweight
“I know little of these two fighters, but Motruk is coming off a successful amateur debut while Wiles’ story is something different. Hopefully lessons were learned in his last outing and Wiles is able to claim the hometown victory.”
Prediction: Wiles wins by unanimous decision.
