The UAE Warriors octagon welcomes KB Bhullar back into action.
According to sources, Edmonton, Alta.-based Bhullar (11-3) is set to square off against Brazil's Juscelino Ferreira (11-3) in a middleweight matchup at UAE Warriors 30 on July 2 in Abu Dhabi. Viewers can catch the event streaming live on UFC Fight Pass.
That marks Bhullar's second time competing under the UAE Warriors banner, following a debut loss to Tarek Suleiman caused by an illegal knee strike.
After a brief 0-2 stretch in the UFC that included defeats to Tom Breese and Andreas Michailidis, Bhullar has secured three consecutive victories within less than seven months.
Ferreira enters this bout as Bhullar's opponent, looking to extend his fourth UAE Warriors performance with a current 2-1 mark in the promotion. Both of his victories came against Suleiman and Ibrahim Elsawi.
Also featured on the undercard is Calgary, Alta.'s Jesse Arnett, who will step up to challenge Jordan's Ali AlQaisi for the UAE Warriors featherweight championship in the night's headline contest.
Arnett arrives at this fight riding momentum from a notable victory in his most recent appearance, where he defeated the formerly unbeaten Gadzhimurad Gasanguseynov at UAE Warriors 28.
Meanwhile, AlQaisi—a former UFC competitor—has compiled a 4-0 record since leaving the organization, a streak that encompasses capturing and retaining the UAE Warriors featherweight belt.
Additionally, rising Brazilian star Vinicius de Oliviera is scheduled to put his UAE Warriors bantamweight title on the line against unbeaten contender Ali Taleb.
