Gino Ghalehpardaz possesses a secret weapon heading into Front Row Fight Club 1 bout with Noah Crosswell

It’s been a long time coming for this matchup to take place.

Hamilton, Ont.’s Gino Ghalehpardaz (1-1) tests skills with Noah Crosswell (0-2) in a bantamweight bout at Front Row Fight Club 1 on Saturday night in Niagara Falls, Ont.

With his teammate, Matt Hovorka, having faced Crosswell three times in the amateur ranks, Ghalehpardaz, 31, feels he has an added insight as to what to expect on fight night.

“Truly believe Matty is one of, if not the best guys coming out of Adrenaline right now that’s up and coming. I truly believe that, like he’s fantastically skilled. With that being said, Matty is a valuable training partner. I saw what worked, what didn’t work,” said Ghalehpardaz in an interview with MMA Empire.

“I understand how Matty competes. Through that lens, I kind of feel like I’ve got a little bit more insight into how Noah is. In terms of direct competition, I don’t, but from teammate association, I’ve kind of put it together a little bit.”

While winning the fight remains priority number one for Ghalehpardaz, he said he has a little added excitement being able to compete in Niagara Falls.

“Man, I’m really excited. I’m really, really excited to do this. I really like Niagara Falls. I have a lot of memories of Clifton Hill, being there, and honestly just because we were supposed to do it last time. That was honestly part of why I was really bummed out. Of course, it was not being able to compete because I love this sport and I love competing, but it was also getting a chance to compete in Niagara Falls, which is a little bit near and dear to my heart,” said Ghalehpardaz.

“I love it a lot, so it’s cool to finally get a chance to actually set things right, go there and do this too. So it’s cool,
I’m excited.”
