Ramil Kamilov doesn’t feel Sean Michael is on his level heading into Unified MMA 47 matchup

Two undefeated lightweight prospects will square off at Unified MMA 47 when Ramil Kamilov (3-0) tests skills with Sean Michael (3-0) Friday night in Calgary, Alta.

Kamilov, 25, said he’s been eyeing this fight with Michael for years, having been adjacent to one another on different cards. He said Michael turned the bout down a few times and said only when he ramped up the social media talk did this fight come together.

“He’s got a few things he does well. I think, stylistically, I’m better and I think skill-wise I’m better. I’m stronger, I’m more mentally tough, I’m better just everywhere. Really everywhere I’m better than this guy,” said Kamilov in an interview with MMA Empire.

“However, he is dangerous in a few things. There’s a few grappling things that I won’t speak on. Really only one striking thing. He’s got a good right hand. Otherwise, other than that, I won’t really respect his striking.”
