Predictions: Front Row Fight Club 1

Front Row Fight Club is set for their inaugural show tomorrow night in Niagara Falls, Ont. Front Row Fight Club 1 has been hit hard by the injury bug, but still boasts a solid main event between Michael Imperato and Keith Carson, as well as what should be some entertaining other bouts on the card. Check out my picks for the card below.

Michael Imperato (9-4) vs. Keith Carson (7-7): PRO Bantamweight

It’s been over two years since either guy has competed in MMA, so it’s safe to assume improvements have been made on both sides. While Carson could pose some problems on the feet, I think Imperato’s ground game and experience against high-level opposition could be the difference-maker.

Prediction: Imperato wins via submission in the second round.

Gino Ghalehpardaz (1-1) vs. Noah Crosswell (0-2): PRO Bantamweight

Ghalehpardaz is riding the momentum of picking up his first professional win at BTC 14 back in March, while Crosswell is still searching for that elusive same win. The ground game has been the kryptonite for Crosswell so far in his career, so if Ghalehpardaz can score takedowns he should get the job done.

Prediction: Ghalehpardaz wins via submission.

Akbar Nabavizadehzenoz (0-0) vs. Matheiu Langlais (1-3): PRO Light Heavyweight

I don’t know too much about Nabavizadehzenoz other than he’s got a strong wrestling game. I could be way off on this going off such little information, but I think¬†Nabavizadehzenoz’s wrestling leads the way.

Prediction: Nabavizadehzenoz wins via submission.

Nate Ledger (0-5) vs. Marco Carlotti (0-1): PRO Featherweight

Both fighters have yet to taste victory in their professional careers, so something has to give here. Ledger has more experience and also had a solid amateur career of 3-0-1, so I’m going with him due to not knowing too much about Carlotti.

Prediction: Ledger wins via submission.
