For Unified MMA 42, Mitch Strazzella (1-0) has stepped in to provide his predictions and analysis for the 11 MMA bouts on the card.

After an up and down 3-3 amateur career, Strazzella is coming off an impressive professional debut in which he defeated Glen Cuevas via unanimous decision. If his professional debut is any indication, Strazzella could be one to watch in 2022.

Here are Strazzella’s predictions for Unified MMA 42:

Graham Park (8-2) vs. Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz (8-1): PRO 195-pound Title Bout** PARK PREVIEW, KSIAZKIEWICZ PREVIEW

“On paper, great matchup for main event and for the 195-pound belt. Both great records. I’ll lean towards Ksiazkiewicz. He’s fought good competition and has experience from Contender Series. Probably a finish in this fight from either side.”

Prediction: Ksiazkiewicz wins via TKO.

Shane Campbell (20-8) vs. Hubert Geven (13-3): PRO Lightweight Title Bout** FIGHT PREVIEW

“Potential fight of the night. Solid competitors, but I’ll side with Campbell being the Canadian and having fought a who’s who. He’s also been a bit more active.”

Prediction: Campbell wins via TKO.

KB Bhullar (9-3) vs. Brandt Dewsbery (15-3-1): PRO 195 pounds FIGHT PREVIEW

“This seems like a solid fight. Great records and experience, toss up. Going to take Dewsbery on this one seeing as he has a variety of finishes.”

Prediction: Dewsbery wins via submission.

Chris Chapman (4-2) vs. Cole Campbell (3-3) PRO 175 pounds

“Quite a few finishes from both Chapman and Campbell. Three rounds of war hopefully for this one.”

Prediction: Chapman wins via decision.

Simon Marcus (0-0) vs. Anton Tokarchuk (4-5-1): PRO 195 pounds

“I think we’re all curious to see Marcus in MMA gloves. Tokarchuk will be a gamer. Could be tough.”

Prediction: Marcus wins via knockout.

Jett Grande (1-0-1) vs. Steven Thomas (0-0): PRO Lightweight

“Pretty solid record as an amateur from Grande. Tough not to take Grande’s experience in this one.”

Prediction: Grande wins via decision.

Tyrell Giselbrecht (1-0) vs. Ramil Kamilov (0-0): PRO Lightweight

“Kamilov has a good crew with him. I follow him and seen him for a while.”

Prediction: Kamilov wins via decision.

Leo Bonin (1-1) vs. Sean Carroll (2-1): AMATEUR 150 pounds

“This should be a really close, competitive fight. Both guys have proven to be tough outs early in their amateur careers.”

Prediction: Bonin wins via decision.

Arman Deol (1-0) vs. Nick Felber (1-1): AMATEUR Featherweight

“Felber packs some serious power and could easily land that fight-ending shot at any moment. Deol comes from a solid camp and gets consistent rounds in with Justin Basra. Deol should be able to implement his wrestling in this one.”

Prediction: Deol wins via decision.

Mitch Wiles (2-2) vs. Gabriel Brown (0-0): AMATEUR Flyweight

“With Brown making his debut, he’s a bit of a wild card. He trains with the Shaved Bears MMA team, so he will likely be more than prepared. It’s hard to overlook the experience of Wiles, however.”

Prediction: Wiles wins via decision.

Mac Stroud (1-1) vs. Ian Stoby (0-0): AMATEUR Welterweight

“Another matchup with a debutant. Stoby could easily come out and look amazing here, but it’s always tough to predict when a fighter is making their debut.”

Prediction: Stroud wins via TKO.
