September was another huge month as we saw over two dozen fighters compete in promotions internationally. The only continent that did NOT have a Canadian scheduled to fight in September was Antarctica.
October's geographic spread is the month's real story — cards in Africa, Peru, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi alongside the usual Vegas and regional stops. When Canadian fighters are booked on four continents in a single month, the scene's export pipeline is working exactly as designed.

155 lbs – Joaquim Silva defeats Jesse Ronson by TKO (knee and punches) in round 2, 3:08.
Ronson's second-round TKO loss to Silva opened the month's UFC ledger — a lightweight finish that went the wrong way in Vegas, and the kind of result that stalls a veteran's run.

Kennedy's injury-stoppage TKO of Pico was the month's most unusual win — a shoulder injury ending a fight at the five-minute mark is a strange way to get a W, but the result stands and it came against a top prospect.

Kladnjakovic's arm-triangle in Togo was the month's most far-flung finish — a Canadian bantamweight submitting a local fighter on an African card is the kind of booking this column exists to surface.

205 lbs – Alonzo Menifield defeats Misha Cirkunov by KO (punches) in round 1, 1:28.
Cirkunov's first-round KO loss to Menifield was the month's toughest UFC result for Canada — a light-heavyweight finish against a heavy-handed striker, and the kind of early stoppage that puts a roster veteran's future in question.

Gordon's third-round armbar loss to Mokaev on the Abu Dhabi PPV was the month's biggest-stage result for Canada — a submission defeat against an unbeaten prospect on one of the year's deepest cards is a hard but survivable outcome.

Wilson's decision win in Maryland was the month's quiet regional result — a bantamweight taking a scorecard win on a small U.S. card keeps a career's momentum honest.
DFC 17 – Peru – Oct. 28
